Hello @indymark

I am not familiar with the specific model but is it one that has a switch to turn the hammering on and off? If that's the case, the switch clicks in just fine? Some of these kinds of switches I came across are round and need to be turned, others are rectangular and need to be pushed back and forth. Once I had a similar problem on a drill, the lever that selects the torque, it looked like it was pushed in but it only traveled 90% of the way and didn't fully engage because of some dirt that got stuck in the path where it slides.

Worth a look, and maybe an air compressed blow if you have it! Before you start looking into more serious causes that is.
