Tablet won't charge

My Samsung Galaxy tab A9 Plus suddenly stopped charging while plugged up. I'm thinking I need to replace the charging port. What tools/equipment will I need, and any advice?

I have the same issue and changed the USB-C port. Even though I can measure something with the USB meter, the tablet doesn't charge and doesn't turn on. Now I ordered a new battery that I will also try, before I Gove up.
