Why can't I boot into any operating system besides windows?

I am currently trying to run bazzite on my Dell Inspiron however it won't boot from the usb and only will boot windows from the HDD. All it does when I try to boot the usb outside of secure boot is just give me a backlit black screen. Hope someone knows what's going on here because I have no clue

Here's an article that shows how to install Bazzite in a laptop.

In the article the minimum system requirements state that the GPU must support Vulkan 1.3+.
