After replacing digitizer the homebutton sits too low!

Hi there

I've chanced digitizer assembly on about 30 iPhone 4 (only 3 iPhone 4S), and everytime the homebutton sits a little too low compared to the glass screen. I'm always very careful in removing all pieces of glass and such, so that shouldn't be a issue. And I also remove the film placed under the new digitizer!

Is it the digitizer itself or is there a trick out there to solve this? Maybe put something under the homebutton to make it level with the screen?

Hope you can help...

The display assemblies you are using do not have the correct corner tab height or your not pushing them down enough. Cheap displays sometime sit too high. You can put a piece of business card under the button or get better fitting assemblies.

it's because Shenzhen made digi are a bit thinner than original. also there's a 1mm empty cavity inside so when you take the protection film from below digitizer the LCD goes inside the frame. if you cover that cavity with a sealer or use a transparent film could be better.
