Error1 & outlet valve leaks

Hello,

First, thank you for the clear tutorial on supporting the circular economy.

  • My 15-year-old Surpresso is showing "Error 1." Could you help me fix this issue?
  • Since the outlet valve was leaking, I cleaned it and replaced it with a new one. However, I am still experiencing a leak from the outlet valve. What would you recommend?

Thanks,
Tonny

The Error 1 issue needs to be resolved by Siemens themselves. There's apparently a way to get to the error to see what it's for in the diagnostics menu (Menu -> Diagnostics -> Alarms -> Click on Alarm -> Help) should give you a bit more info but usually it just says to contact Siemans.

As for the leaky valve, if the leak is coming from the valve itself it's most likely that an o-ring isn't sealed properly or has gone bad. You could try getting another o-ring if the valve you bought didn't come from one, or you could try to re-attach the valve so it doesn't leak.

Thank you very much for your support!

The Error 1 because the temperature from external CTN 72° vs. >80°C+ - Boiler R=37Ohms almost 1400w+/230v, thermal protection okay...what should be the probleme since no other regulation on the boiler?

I replaced the drainage valve gaskets, but I’m still getting a significant leak from the valve. 🤔 I’m going to check the assembly again, particularly the drainage that connects to the brewing unit.
