Were you ever able to fix this? Our repair guy says that often it goes further... he has replaced the temperature sensor, then replace the mother board and it works for a day for both repairs and then still the same problem? My washer is 3 years old? Any suggestions? Do I just go buy new as the costs are then getting up there!

I have a F24 error. My washer is a Kenmore HE2t, model # 110.4756 or 4757. Where is the temperature sensor?

Aiman, The F24 error code indicates a water temperature sensor reading that is out of range on this model of washer. The first step to troubleshooting this code is to unplug the washer for AT LEAST 30 minutes in an attempt to reset the Central Control Unit (CCU).Check the wiring connections between the temperature sensor and the control board. To access the temperature sensor at the back of the tub, you will need to unplug the washer and remove the back panel. If you can give us the model number I could try to find the right diagram and manual for you. Hope this helps, good luck.

Thank you! This helped me fix my washer without calling someone out.

Mine had the same error code f- 24 and the problem was a busted water hose inside the back of the washer. My laundry room covered in water now since I used the advise of " reset the washer and it works fine" ! Don't do this, unless u want to turn your laundry room into the Lazy River! Lol.

What is the full model number of the washer?

There are 3 110.47086xxx models, 110.47086600, -601 & -602 and they are all slightly different in their operation and what parts they have.

For what this is worth, our machine was doing this too, and my husband took apart what he could and found a whole bunch of stuff just before the water pump. It was disgusting, toothpicks even a razor blade, screws, coins , you name it, if it is found in clothes pockets it was there, coated with a blue black slime. Also up where you put soap in take that apart and you might find some stuff cloogging things up. When we put everything together again the error messages stopped. Gone. Things may just need cleaning.

We had codeF24. Took front bottom panel off the washer and saw a wire with plug hanging down. Had to take the back panel off to plug it back in and has worked perfect ever since. We were going to throw it out!!
