Why doesn't Pixel 6 recharge after drained battery

My Pixel 6 battery is fully dead. The screen show battery icon with lightning bolt but the battery will not recharge. Is there a fix for this problem?

@wbkwbk with this "screen show battery icon with lightning bolt" your system recognizes it is being charged. What does not recognize the charging, sounds like the battery. Replace the battery then re-evaluate Google Pixel 6 Battery Replacement Of course, you can always connect a USB ammeter and see how many amps your phone draws from the charger. That gives you a better idea about what is going on with it.

Years ago fake charging was a big issue and it was always related to the charging circuitry on the logic boards, but working on that would be the last resort.

I have some solutions:

  1. Try a different charger, and that may help.
  2. Try to leave the phone on charge overnight, and see if it does get charged or not.
