Hi Filip!

In my experience it still could be the power switch board cable... But it's also possible that your drive is dying.

What do you hear when you try to open the disc tray?

If you don't hear any sounds > power switch board ribbon cable could be faulty.

If you hear the drive trying to open, but it stays shut > faulty drive/rubber belt

The disctray button sounds like it presses itself, constantly. Its an annoying sound so i might just unplug the ribbon cable and use turn it on using the controller, digital xbox 360.

Hi! In my experience (repaired a lot of them) this is caused by the ribbon cable… it’s damaged OR not fully in… best thing to do is to check if it’s probably seated, if this is the case, then replace it for a new one. Good luck!

Thanks for the help everyone, but the xbox now has the RedDotOfDeath by accidentally damaging the logic board during an attempt to RGH3 it. Thank you.

Hi Filip! Ah, this is hard to fix... Probably for the best to replace the motherboard...
