Middle click won't result in anything happening.
The button will click as usual, but wont result in anything happening.
The Logitech G HUB software is working fine and I set it to be the default middle click.
I've never seen anyone else with this specific issue. (Note everything else is working, even the horizontal scroll.)

What OS system i.e. Windows, Mac OS, Linux etc is the mouse being used with?
If Windows, check in Control Panel → Mouse to see if you can get it working from there.
