Why isn't my Switch charging after replacing the cartridge slot?

A couple days ago, I replaced the cartridge slot in a Switch that wasn't reading games. It began reading games again, but for some reason, it's no longer charging. I'm not sure what would have caused this. I didn't alter anything on the motherboard itself. The only components I touched after opening the console were the heat sink and the board the cartridge slot is on. Has anybody else run into an issue like this?

Options

It seems like you accidentally must have messed with something, like the USB-C port on the switch, or the battery. When you take it apart, they are easy to accidentally brush up against something.
