My iPhone xs screen isn't working

My screen lights up but doesn't display anythin so I decided to replace the screen. The replacement screen doesn't come on, I've tried 3 different screens and also right now the old screen doesn't light up again

I think the problem is from the battery cause it looks a bit swollen ad kinda punctured too. I already ordered for a replacement.
Any ideas on how to troubleshoot or any possible solution?

here is a pcture of the battery

From the look of the battery I would recommend not charging it till it is replaced with the new one. Most likely the issue is with the battery but I would also look for visible damage in the backlight circuit just so you don't have to come back here with a similar issue in a week. This guide will allow you to remove the motherboard for a safer environment to inspect the motherboard.

Kesiena, tyou don't have to worry about a damaged backlight circuit because both the X and the XS have OLED screens and therefore do not have separate backlights.

iFixit doesn't have a motherboard guide for the XS, so here's one from a Spanish site.

The battery pictured reads 616-00514 which would identify their phone as an iphone xs
