My microphone doesn't work anymore
My microphone doesn't work anymore. I have done everything Samsung have proposed, I have even done a reinitialisation. What should I do?

@doubiousr not sure what Samsung told you to do, so some of this may be repetitious. STart your phone in safe mode and see if your can work you mic while in that mode. If so, you know that the issue will be related to a third part app. You will have to remove the apps you've installed until you find the one that causes the mic to fail. Check these instructions to get your phone in safe mode.
Next try to get into the Samsung Hardware Diagnostic Test Menu. For that you need to dial *#0*# for this. Here you can check the Speaker/Mic function. If that fails as well, you most likely will have to replace the mic. Luckily on your phone the main mic is soldered to the daughter board. The board is inexpensive and not terribly complicated to replace.
Since iFixit does not yet have a guide for this, use the one from here It is in Spanish but your browser should have the ability to translate it. For the charging board, you are looking at something like this (Example only and not an endorsement for the seller)
While you work on your phone, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. That will help the next person that has the same problem as you do. Being in a different time zone really messes me about if the admin decides to do things after hours as it seems to happen sometimes e.g. open a page in Answers forum and the newest questions are just a few minutes old, go to p.2 to view more questions and then reopen previous page some minutes later and the "newest" questions are 4 hours old! and the previously new questions aren't there. They may reappear some time later

Use a strong light and a magnifying glass to check if the voice inlet hole, located at the bottom edge of the phone is blocked. If you can't tell use a vacuum cleaner to try and clean it anyway, just in case. Do not try to clear it using a pin or probe etc as you may damage the components on the board.
Can you still be heard OK when using the phone in loudspeaker mode (hands free mode) on a call or using the Voice recorder app?

If it's under warranty then you have replace the defected item. I am using M52 5G and got the same issue, however, I repaired it as my phone was in under warranty.
