Why does this thing happen? It's hard to concisely explain.

I think my phone is malfunctioning. I plug my phone charger cable into mains, all is fine and dandy. I unplug the cable from mains, and suddenly moisture is apparently inside the port. I plug it into my power bank, and it gets mad at me. I unplug it, and plug it back into mains, and it's fine. What?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hi @dravenharle,

Has the phone been dropped or gotten wet at all, you didn't say?

Inspect the charge port using a magnifying glass and a strong light, just to check there's no debris or damage to the pins in the charge port.

Also check the phone's LDI (liquid damage indicator) to see if it has changed colour signifying that liquids have penetrated into the phone.
