Screen won't turn on after replacement

Hi iFixit,

I just recently bought a replacement screen since I was having issues with a flickering and dead screen with my previous one. I followed the directions from Youtube videos, powering it off, removing ribbons and fingerprint sensor etc and now for some reason my screen won't turn on. I've tried reseating the cable in several times and made sure the fingerprint sensor is correctly plugged in but nothing.

I've turned it off and on, did the soft reset for 30 seconds and nothing. I know the phone is able to turn on since it vibrates when it powers on and when I get notifications. However I can't tell if the screen just isn't correctly connected or if the pins got messed up in the seating process or a common complaint if I've received the wrong screen and got a Google Pixel 7pro screen instead. I've tried plugging in my previous screen but since the old screen wasn't properly working anyways (was black most of the time or flickering) I'm not able to verify if it works. Please any suggestions would help. Thank you.

Hi @breford
Your screen is likely defective, ask your replacement screen provider for a replacement for your replacement if you can
