What's needed to repair Switch Lite LCD damaged by isopropyl alchohol?

After following the iFixit instructions for replacing my Switch Lite's battery, I discovered that the isopropyl alchohol they recommend using to soften the original battery's adhesive had seeped into the LCD and damaged it. The screen has significantly dimmed, unevenly, and there are blob-shaped irregularities across it. I did take the whole thing apart and let it dry overnight, but I think the damage is permanent. I'm pretty frustrated, obviously, but now I need to figure out if I should replace just the LCD, or the LCD + digitizer together. What would folks recommend?

Assuming the digitizer is working correctly I don't see any need to replace it especially since it's an entirely separate operation beyond removing the LCD.
