My phone's bluetooth connects to any speaker but no sound comes out

My phone used to connect to speakers via bluetooth with no problem but since the beginning of this year it now it connects to a speaker but no sound comes out. And it's not the speakers because I have successfully connected different phones/devices to the speakers and the sound is just fine. The issue only seems to be related to my phone. Has anyone ever experienced anything similar to this or have any suggestions on what I can do to fix this?

Options

From past experiences, try restarting the phone and BT sound device, then pair them and try again. If that doesn't work, in your phone settings, in Bluetooth, remove (or "Forget") that BT device, then re-pair the device. If that doesn't work, your phone's BT chip may be at fault.

I've already tried both of those but that has not resolved the issue I also reset the network settings but the issue remains

This is a hardware issues, beacuse of low quality components used in the device. Try bending the device left or right in the top part, while something is playing in the background via Bluetooth. Unfort this will cost you more probably a motherboard change!
