Computer doesn't recognize power supply when plugged in

My Vostro 15 7510 laptop doesn't charge or recognize the power supply when plugged in. Will charge from USB-C when connected to hub, but that's low power. Power supply has indicator light on the barrel plug that's lit up, steady. Can often get it to charge by wiggling the plug or pulling it partway out.

I opened it up, computer side of plug is soldered to the board and not very accessible. Any way to repair this?

Answer this question I have this problem too

@brianfishe52572 this "Can often get it to charge by wiggling the plug or pulling it partway out" is pretty indicative that you have a bad jack. The only way to repair this is by replacing it on the board. YOu'll have to desolder the old one and then replace it with a new one. There are really not other options for this.
