After replacing battery, iPod only stays on for a second?
I messed up the soldering and removed a solder pad. Following advice from iFixIt Thread Here, I used a short wire to connect the joint with a trace.
Here's how my iPod looks like now:
Now, when I connect the iPod to the computer, the Apple logo appears for ~1-2 seconds, before the screen blacks out, and the Apple logo appears again. This keeps happening as long as the iPod is plugged in.
Is this because of a bad solder job, or is there any way to fix this?
I already screwed it up quite bad, hope there is a solution that doesn't require any desoldering.
Is this a good question?
When I press the "Home Button" during the startup process, it goes into Recovery mode and manages to stay on.
However, I pressed the power button, which turned it off, and now it doesn't turn on when connected to the cable... Any help?
