How to switch phone service on phones w/o SIM cards

I want to switch my cell phone service from my LG EnV Touch to an unlocked Droid I bought off of Ebay without having to change my service contract (which is now the requirement). Is it possible to move hardware from one phone to the other in order to move service? Neither phone has a SIM card to switch.

To answer your question directly about moving hardware, in a word, NO - especially not between phones that are not the exact same models of phones. Even if the chips are the same, the firmware controlling them can be different.

It is possible to clone. Please tell us more about the Droid and who your service provider is.
