The charge light is flashing, and the phone isn't turning on.

I watched a YouTube video on this problem and learnt a few troubleshooting techniques. When I tested for the voltage of the battery it was 3.4V which is lower than it should be, meaning it needs to be boosted. However when I test how much voltage is going to the battery, I get 1.8V. This is different from the 5.6V which is entering through the flex motherboard cable from the charging port. Any ideas that could help?

@leeky39051 you want to post some good pictures of your boards and show us where you measured those voltages. In the meantime, here is the schematics for the charging circuit. you can measure to check if those components are having any issues.
