Hi @dale28130

A DTC P0340 indicates a problem with the CMP sensor bank A which I believe is located in the right bank (when viewed from the front of the engine).

Here's another answer on ifixit showing the locations of the cmp sensors in a 2012 3.6L Durango that may help (you didn't specify the year or if it was a 3.6L or a 5.7L engine)
