My 2020 Macbook Pro 13 M1 has a working Touchbar buttons but the screen is completely black. I don't know what happened to it because it is used. How can I fix this? Here’s the Apple service manual for your system 13” MacBook Pro (M1, 2020) I would inspect the ribbon cables from the the TouchBar refer to page 78 see if reseating them resolves things. Do make sure you review our guide MacBook Pro 13" Two Thunderbolt Ports Late 2020 Battery Replacement to Step 14 disconnecting the battery before you move things.

If that fails fix the issue and you don’t see any liquid damage, the panel is likely cracked. Apple only sells the full upper case assembly which is quite expensive!
