My TV won't power on.

My Sanyo dp50747 tv has had small red lines go across the screen for a while now than the amount of the red lines slowly started to increase. Recently the TV has shut off completly and will not turn back on. For a couple of weeks I was able to get the TV to turn on after repeatedly tapping the power button, but now it will not go on at all.
