Hi Vishal,

We can't second guess the service center with regard to their diagnosis since we don't have the phone in hand to test it so if you disagree with them the best thing to do would be to get a second opinion at a different shop.

However, assuming you take them at their word and believe them that the motherboard has a problem, you have a couple of options. First, you can try to locate a repair shop that has the expertise to repair the motherboard, which can be expensive and the cost of which could easily exceed the value of the phone.

Otherwise the only other course would be to replace the motherboard yourself. iFixit unfortunately doesn't have a guide showing you how to do that repair, but there's a Spanish site called Nadie Me Llama Gallina that does.

You should be able to find replacement motherboards on either eBay or AliExpress; they look like they're running anywhere from about $30 to $50 USD new, but may be cheaper used on eBay. Here's an example of one that looks like it would work for you.

Take lots of pictures as you do the repair and use those to create your first iFixit guide to help others who have the same problem. It's easy, fun and the community will thank you!
