Boots up the desktop appears but black and explorer doesn't open

The desktop is blank and nothing can be seen no icons or programs and even if I open explorer via task manager it doesn't open I do the F8 repair trick but it says bad hard disk.

Is it fixable. Thanks

Dear Zayn Orya,

No, you cannot use it internally, but you can use it as an external hard disk. If you don't see the Dell logo when you boot up, it may be a problem with the BIOS. To fix the BIOS, you will need to replace it from the motherboard.
