Gameboy isn't getting enough power

I turn on my gameboy. Light flashes red then turns off. Please help. It isn't the batteries because my other gba works.

Your power switch is likely dirty. You can sometimes temporarily fix this by taking the batteries out and switching the power switch back and forth many times to rub away oxidation, but a more permanent fix is to open up the power switch and clean all the metal parts inside it with some rubbing alcohol.
