I Changed the battery, why won't it Power on?

I took apart and replaced the battery of an OLED that showed a Red battery but would not charge. After swapping out the battery, the same thing occurs. The OLED will turn on, show that it is plugged in and charging but will not get enough juice to turn on. I used the cord successfully with other OLEDs and just to be sure I tried a few different cords, all to no avail. I don't really know how to proceed.

However as of typing this another thought occurred to me: Could it be the charging port that needs to be changed? My only hesitation on that is that the Switch still shows the little lightning bolt to show that it's charging, but I'm not sure if that matters. I just don't wish to waste time and money on another hunch.

If you have any thoughts or suggestions, please do share.

@trevor12451 check the charging port. Make sure there are no broken pins, lint etc in there. You can clean it with a few drops of isopropyl alcohol and a few puffs of compressed air. I would consider this to be the culprit (of course there are possibilities of failed power management IC's etc. but the prime suspect is the charging port. This is NOT the easiest one to replace due to the location of the pins. Take a look at this video It'll show you the charging IC location etc. and the charging port repair.
