GPS isn't working properly etc. When driving there is no signal

Hi, my phone's GPS doesn't work when driving. Factory resetting etc doesn't work. The GPS is fine when stationary, but as soon as there is movement the GPS won't work at all. Have taken it to be assessed, and have been told a 'connector is missing'. Does anyone know what connector they are referring to and whether this can be fixed? Thank you

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hello Gerald Fernandez

It's possible that the connector the technician is referring to is the antenna connector for the GPS receiver in your phone. The antenna connector is used to connect the GPS receiver to the phone's internal antenna, which receives GPS signals from satellites.

If the antenna connector is missing or damaged, it could be causing the GPS to not work properly when in motion. This could be because the phone is not receiving a strong enough signal from the GPS satellites to provide accurate location data.

If this is the case, the connector may be replaceable, but it would require opening up the phone and accessing the internal components. It's recommended to have a qualified technician or repair shop perform this type of repair, as it can be complicated and requires specialized tools and knowledge.
