M A check the switch or the motor. See if you have power on it. I attached the GM diagnostics for this power window.Power Window Diagnostic It's really overboard and goes into a lot of depth. Also, check the part of the SM that shows the repair of the switch and the motor.Power Window Repair Of course you also want to check the wiring.

- Check if the motor is running when you activate it up or down. If it is so, but the glass is not moving then
- Open the internal covering of the door and check if the window has gone out of its holder in the roller mechanism.
- If 2 is true, then loosen the holder, fix it back in and tighten it, It will work perfectly.
- if the mechanism itself is damaged, the cable will be all over the place, Kindly buy a new mechanism and have it replaced.

Basically this problem breaks down to; fuse, window switch, wiring, power window unit and window mechanicals.

Have brand new one and it goes down couple of times ..now stuck down in the door. This is my 4th brand new replacement...also replaced window buttons
