Why won't my iPod turn on?
My Ipod Touch A1318 3rd gen 64gb won't do anything, I set it down a few days ago and when I picked it back up the screen was black, I tried everything, I tried the sleep & home reset, won't work... Nothing at all is working, I can no longer think of anything to google to find the problem. It doesn't even show up as a device when its plugged into my computer, I even let it charge for a whole day, on 2 different chargers! PLEASE HELP!! I'm completely oblivious to Ipods but pretty good with computers...

A similar thing happened to me after I used a new FM transmitter in the car. My iPod heated up and, as far as I can tell, fried something internally. I counted mine as a loss, and the best thing I have seen is to send it to Apple. Apple definitely charges a lot, so you might have to decide if that's actually worth it--it wasn't for me.
