Won't run a cycle after replacing the lidlock.

Bravos 300 top-load washer: MVWB300WQ0

After replacing the lidlock, I buttoned everything back up and plugged the washer in. Aha! Regular startup screen. Chose the drain and spin cycle, display showed 14min as usual. Pressed start. Heard the magnetic lidlock engage and the light came on. Cycle never began. I then pushed cancel. After that, any button I push, or turn of the knob , causes a beep. Display no longer showing anything. I unplugged the washer, waited 5 min and tried again. Same scenario.

I've checked several sites and looked through all of the appliance assistant pages. Nowhere can I find what the consistent beeping signifies. Anyone know?

Hi @momac

The beep is an indication that the lid is not detected as being closed, even though you've heard the lock operate.

Here's the tech sheet for the washer.

Go to Test #8 Lid Lock on p.6 to check if the lid lock, lid lock circuit is OK

Where can I get a diagram to reference the p# connectors?

@momac

See p.15 of the tech sheet.

Usually the connector pin number is shown on the board, either by the number 1 at one end of the connector or perhaps an arrowhead
