a black vertical line on laptop's screen , how to remove it

@tigertee we would need to see what this looks like. A single line a pixel wide is usually a bad screen (Tab Error). If it is wider it could be TAB error but could also be cable error. So lets see if we can figure this out. Post some good pictures of what your screen shows with your QUESTION.
