Why wont my phone turn on after replacing the front display?

I replaced the front display and went to turn the phone back on, but it wont turn on. So I plugged it into my computer to charge and see if anything happens. Immediately upon plugging in, the apple symbol appears on the display, but then goes away and the phone still wont turn on. What could it be?

Sounds like either the battery is disconnected for some reason or your power/lock button is disconnected. Recheck all your connections and make sure none of the pins or connectors are damaged or dirty.

I just plugged it into the wall outlet, and it turned on but a warning came up saying it needs to be restored in iTunes. But that cant happen because it wont turn on or connect to iTunes when it is connected via the computer cord.

Turns out my batter connector was not fully connected. the underneath screw wasn't tight enough, so that wasn't allowing the third battery prong to get good contact.

Happens to the best of us, glad you were able to find it quickly! :)
