MacBook with replaced battery won't power up after calibration drain?

I replaced the battery in my MacBook Pro and it was working properly. However, I followed calibration instructions to drain the battery completely then recharge to 100% but now it will no longer power up. The only thing that appears is the battery display which reads 100% but there is no activity when I press power. Any ideas what could have happened?

You’ll need to get a replacement battery. I don’t recommend calibration on the newer 2016 and newer systems.
