Hi,

Does the laptop give any indication i.e. charging light, when the charger is connected?

If not, have you checked that there is +20V DC on the output plug of the charger, in case the charger is faulty?

If the charger is OK, here’s the hardware maintenance manual for the laptop. Go to p.87 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to remove/replace the DC-In / USB board.

This will allow you to gain access to the motherboard side of the DC-In jack so you can check if the voltage is getting through the jack to power the laptop and to charge the battery.

If the DC-In jack is faulty the part number is 00HT632 (supplier example only). Search online using the part number only to get results for suppliers that suit you best.
