Can't calibrate new battery after many attempts

I installed an iFixit battery a while ago and after install it wasn't calibrated. I remember looking up the classic steps (I followed these instructions) and performing it twice or maybe even three times. After the computer went into sleep automatically and the charger was still disconnected, I left the computer in this state overnight, so even more than 5 hours. So I tried a couple of times doing the same thing but the problem persists.

Now that I will be needing the computer remotely I'd like to figure out how to calibrate if the steps don't work. I tried resetting PRAM and SMC but to no avail. Still the batttery jumps from being charged over 70% to 18% or so and total usage of the battery is about an hour.

Attached is a screenshot of my coconut battery status. You can clearly see the few charge cycles but the 25% design capacity. Coconut is showing this while the battery indicator in the menu is showing 100% of course.

Thanks for confirming this. It's what I was afraid of going to hear as well.

At least I know what the step forward is, so that's good :-)
