iPhone 7 stuck at Boot Loop; Can't restore from iTunes

Hello everyone,

I am trying to recover the iPhone 7 (A1778) that is stuck at the boot - only showing the Apple logo.

When I go to DFU mode of the phone and try restoring it via iTunes - I get an error on ‘Waiting for phone’ step. (Error code 2009 on one PC, and error code 21 on the other). I am using a genuine lightning cable.

When I try firmware update from another tool like 3uTools, the error is stated like: ”ERROR: Unable to place device into recovery mode from DFU mode”.

The phone is not tampered by jailbreaking or hardware modifications/repairs.

Thank you!

Sounds like a faulty NAND. You will need something like the iBox mini to confirm. If it is a faulty NAND the iBox mini might still be able to read the config file, that way you will be able to write that to a new NAND.
