One Airpod pro bud is grainy sounding, what's wrong and can I fix it?

For a while now my right bud has been grainy (crackly), at first I thought it was just the transparency mode, but now it’s all sound coming from it. I’ve tried cleaning them, but maybe there is some wax dug in there? Maybe it’s not wax at all? Thanks for any help!

If I'm not mistaken, Airpods are not repairable. Search videos as silicone(?) sealant is used to effectively render repairs impossible. There may be a replacement fee for right or left one.

If it’s a static sound, then I have this problem too. I’m thinking it’s mechanical, possibly a loose wire or something, because it would go away after jiggling the airpod. I’ve done that so many times now that it’s just static.

Hear me out, so most likely there is some stuff in your airpod that could be stuck in there but cant be removed with regular cleaning.

So if you have some blue sticky tack (the stuff that schools uses back then) just force it into the airpod's holes, then SLOWLY remove it from the hole. repeat it a few times and the noise issue should be fixed. It's an old school method I did on some Pixel Buds and some first gen airpods
