I have a B&D Flex model FHV1200. The charger gets hot and is burning
the outlet. I ordered a new plug OEM B&D but the charger is still heating. Is the motor burning out? The noise level is high.

@katfomon1951 the charger only charges the battery not the motor. If the charger heats up excessively and it is a new charger, replace the battery inside your FHV1200 and then re-evaluate, You can always post some pictures etc. if you find some odd looking component or have trouble with the battery removal Adding images to an existing question
Of course you also want to make sure that this is not related to a bad outlet where you plug the charger in. Try a different one.
