Battery won't charge after battery replacement.

I recently bought from ifixit a iPhone 3g battery and i replaced it successfully. the result was the device to operate properly until the first drain. what is more, the battery won't charge and always shoes the icon with the thunder above the battery, stuck in 10% (red). Thanks

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

is that image(thunderbolt) only when on charger? or is it there all the time? have you checked connector 4?

by

@pollytintop the whole time my iPhone is not plugged in, i switch it on and shows "the plug logo". when i plug it in, it shows the thunderbolt icon, without charging. the connector 4 is ok as far as i am concerned.

Same problem..would be nice to see an answer. Put the old battery back in and charges, but of course back to short talk time now.
