Replacing Logicboard but didn't work.

I try to replace my MacBook Pro 15” 2016 TouchBar’s logicboard ,the LCD working but just black, show nothing (like waiting Apple Logo show up).

And I was buy the MacBook while on France (the keyboard are different) now i’m on Indonesia. I got the logicboard from a friend that got same MacBook Pro but the LCD is broken enough (but have a US Keyboard, not France Keyboard)

Is there any problem with the logicboard if the keyboard have a different kind ?

And did the finger print work or not after changing logicboard ?

It would be nice if u try to answer my question.

Thank You.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

The TouchID button needs to say with the logic board it was married to! No divorces possible here ;-}

So if you take your friends logic board and TouchID and put it into your case (so you hang-on to your french keyboard) that would work.

BUT! That’s assuming your issue is a bad logic board!

We really need to know a bit more on what happened to your system. It might sendup being cheaper for your fiend to get his display replaced getting is system working and your issues might be something simple!
