Hi @coach1249 ,

Is your network showing in the list of available networks? (are there other networks showing also?)

If so have you tried the "forget this network" option on your network and then try reconnecting to it?

Are you using the correct password?

Have you tried resetting the network connections to see if that worked?

What have you tried?

I've tried everything thing you suggested, including reset to factory settings and no list of available networks

Hi @coach1249 ,

Since the WiFi is turning on, try using the tablet as close as possible to your home network router i.e. <30cm, and check if it picks up the network and connects to it OK.

If it does it may be an antenna problem in the tablet e.g. loose connection.

Here’s the ifixit Samsung Galaxy View Motherboard Replacement guide.

It is handy as it shows how to open the tablet, (you don’t have to dis-assemble more than necessary to view the motherboard) In the image at Step.11 the two antenna cables can be seen.

I recommend though that if you’re going to check the antenna connections etc that you disconnect the battery from the tablet as soon as it is accessible, so as to forestall any electrical problems from occurring while you may be working in the tablet e.g. accidentally slipping when using tools etc or even touching things with your fingers that you shouldn’t etc

There is always power available at various places on the motherboard even when the tablet is turned off. The Power On/Off button is not a power isolating button. It merely signals the intentions of the user to the operating system. Think of the tablet as being in an extremely low power state when it is turned off, rather then being totally disconnected from any power.
