Battery won't hold charge

I'm having this problem with a MacBook Pro 2020. I just got the new MacBook Pro 2020 last month.

Worked perfectly well up until today when it's battery drained d completely. I put it on charge with the lid closed and left it for 30 mins. When I tried to turn it back on, the only thing that turns up is the.

Green light of the camera, nothing else. On long pressing the power button, the camera light turns off briefly and then back on and stays on for as long as the power is connected. When I disconnect and reconnect the charger, I hear the charging sound and my touch pad's haptic feedback is activated.

When I long press the power button after disconnecting the charger, the light turns off permanently and no activity afterwards.

I've seen similar issues online, but no one mentions the camera light. Can someone point me in the right direction please?

Sadly, there really isn’t anything you can do here without voiding your warranty.

Time to visit an Apple Store or authorized service center for them to get your system fixed under warranty!

I would recommend you get the AppleCare+ service contract so in the future you’re not hit with an expensive repair.
