Why don't my laptop turn on?

When it's turn on only the power light turn on and the processor gets heated within sec. The fan does not work.

Theophilus Effah  this “he processor gets heated within sec. The fan does not work. “ needs to get fixed first. It is possible that your laptop turns off because your CPU gets to hot or because it already has failed due to overheating. Replace the fan properly than re-evaluate. These instructions should help you to start your repair
