Chipped logicboard by wi-fi's long screw

My screen was damaged and before I got it fixed, the wi-fi started to not connect. It did still work. I looked up a fix for wi-fi issues and did a network reset. The wi-fi was permanetly greyed out after this. I did a complete restore to my jailbroken home. Still greyed out. I sent my phone out for repair to replace the screen. They told me that it may be the logicboard. I have read many posts about this issue. I carefully took the phone apart and discovered the logicboard is chipped to the right of the long screw. On many pictures and diagrams of the logicboard, it shows a round gold area where the board is broken. Is there any way to repair that without replacing the logicboard. myself and my husband are experiences in computers and he is very gifted in soldering. I greatly appreciate any responses.
