Laptop won't come on if unplugged

Display is showing full charge but won’t come on if it’s unplugged. Does the battery need to be replaced?

Hi,

If your laptop is no longer holding a charge for long periods of time or always needs to be plugged into a power source to work, use this Lenovo IdeaPad U530 Touch Does Not Hold Charge problem page for possible causes and solutions.

If Windows10 is installed, create a Win10 battery report to check the condition of the battery.

It may be that even though it shows that it is fully charged, it may not be able to supply the necessary power when under load.

Yea, the battery is done. Go ahead and replace it cuz it holds no charge at all.
