Hi,

What is the model number of the curling iron?

When you say that it has power, I’m assuming that it has a power indicator light, is this correct?

If it is not heating then either there is a problem with the heating element or the switch that connects power to the element.

Was the curler switched on and used continuously for a long period of time e.g. >20 minutes? If so I have read with some curlers and I don’t know if this is applicable for yours that there may be a problem if using them for more than this time as it might burn out the heating element.

The device would have to be opened and the circuit tested to find the problem.

If it is a simple thing like a loose or broken wire then it may be able to be fixed. If it was say a burnt out element or a faulty switch, this may be more problematic as getting an exact replacement part may be difficult. Some manufacturers don’t make spare parts for their products. In other words they design their products not to be easily repaired

If you do decide to open it then post some images back here of the circuit board and perhaps something wrong can be seen. Here’s how to do this. Adding images to an existing question

If opening it and testing seems too difficult, perhaps you know of someone who can do this for you or you can contact a reputable, professional electronics repair service and ask them for a quote to repair the iron.

Hopefully this is of some help
