Back Pannel Won't Come Off

There is something holding my pack pannel on and I can't figure out how to take it off. From the outside it looks like a circle made of the same material as the panel. I can pry it open and look inside and it seems to be a screw. I can't move it as there is nowhere to place the screwdriver. It may be on the otherside underneath a keycap but from what it looks like it doesn't like up with any keys. Pressing down on it does nothing, I can't rotate the back pannel off either. Anyone know what this is and how to get it off?

Hi,

Did you look under the “feet” to see if there are any screws there, holding the cover on?

by

I can pry the whole thing off, its just that part in the middle that is holding onto it.

by

what screwdriver did you use to open the screws?

by

Maybe the screw is under the keyboard. Take out keyboard and have a look.

Chosen Solution

This is most likely a cover hiding a screw in the middle of a back panel. You can use a very small flathead screwdriver (e.g. flathead 1) to pry off the screw cover and get access to the screw head.
