Hi,

The loudspeaker may be clogged or faulty.

Here’s a video that shows how to replace the loudspeaker in the phone.

Here’s a link to some suppliers of the part. It is only shown to give you an idea of the cost of the part. There are other suppliers online that may suit you better. Just search for LG G5 loudspeaker to get results

Originally the microphone went bad and then I ordered a new piece for the bottom because I spray stuff in the microphone and the speaker from Radio Shack cleaner and even the other one used to ring and the microphone worked I just couldn't talk to anybody this one wouldn't ring or make any noise at first but I took a hair dryer to it and now it at least crackles and I put it on vibrate and just so you know

@Steven Sudnick ,

I'm old school.

I don't like putting any liquids on electronics with the power still connected.

With a phone the power is always connected even when it is turned off unless you remove the battery. The power button is not a power isolating button.

Cleaning it with Isopropyl Alcohol 99.9% with the battery removed and waiting for it to dry (evaporate) before replacing the battery would be my preferred option but I can understand that this takes time etc. but may save problems in the long term.
