Hi. Can you please clarify about a MacBook repair. My left speaker sound distorted. I need to replace it. Can I replace only the left speaker? If the speakers should be replaced at once, can you please tell my, why.

What is your exact model is it the same as this one?

There is really no reason to rush a repair unless your system is still under warranty or service contract (AppleCare+) or the extended warranty it might have is about to expire, otherwise you're on the hook for the repair.

Use the sound control panel to bias the speakers so you can identify which speaker is damaged. Then you really only need to replace the one speaker.
